Christy Maskeroni is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, yoga teacher, personal trainer, and owner and founder of Alula Collective. With a rich background in nutrition science and exercise physiology, as well as continuing studies in integrative and functional medicine, she has spent the last 14 years working extensively with individuals to improve their overall health and function.  It is Christy's belief that that everyone has a different story that contributes to where they are with their heath, and it is her goal to guide her clients on a path rooted in the belief that food is medicine.

Christy believes in the incredible power of the body to heal itself.  It is through this ideology and her studies of food, herbs, and other nutraceuticals (and YOGA!) that she was able to find answers to her own health concerns.  Christy will help you find your way — whether auto-immune diseases, GI dysfunction, heart disease, inflammation, or just wanting to feel better, it is her goal is to help individuals maneuver through life with a little more ease.

Christy’s love for nature as medicine spills into her home life, too. From gardening to experimenting with recipes to learning more about herbal education, you will always find Christy seeking to absorb of what nature can provide for us and applying that knowledge to improve overall health and function.

Christy Maskeroni holds a Master of Science in Nutrition and Applied Physiology from Columbia University, Teachers College, and is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist.  She is also a Certified 200 hour Yoga Teacher and a Certified 200 hour Katonah Yoga Teacher. Christy also spends time as a collaborating member of Carpathia Collaborative, a Functional Medicine Center in Dallas. And, while her movement might be focused more in the category of yoga these days, Christy brings the expertise gained by over a decade working as a Personal Trainer and integrates that knowledge of movement into her current teachings. Christy is additionally certified from the National Academy of Sports Medicine and is currently working towards her Integrated and Functional Nutrition Certification (IFNA) so that she can continue to navigate and support the myriad of factors that contribute to the story of each individual’s overall health and well-being. She continues to travel up to NYC on a regular basis studying and applying her knowledge of yoga, breath, and movement with Katonah Yoga teacher and mentor, Abbie Galvin.
